Son of Raymond and Francesca Guerrier, painter and ceramist, grandson of Francis Montanier, winner of the Prix de Rome in the 1950s, Francis Guerrier has been surrounded by art since childhood. Born in 1964 in Eygalières, he decided at the age of 19 to move to Paris, dreaming of a show. But after a brief stint at the Cours Florent, it was in stage design that he finally revealed himself. He then discovered metal, learned to work with the material and, at 25, created his own company for the design of sets for events.

Fifteen years later, he felt the need to find a new lease on life. On his return from a trip to the desert, he decides to fully assume his desire to become a sculptor. Attracted by the monumental which “puts the man in his place”, the artist works according to techniques of folding in the curves. Fascinated by light, the stars, nature and the cosmos, Francis Guerrier deploys his refined works in Euclidean forms and plants his pen with poetry in the park of the Château de Charleval.
